Girls Aloud confirm extra date on Irish tour due to 'phenomenal demand'

Popular girl band Girls Aloud have confirmed an extra date has been added to their Ireland and UK tour.

According to Ticketmaster Ireland, the extra date on their arena tour in Ireland was added due to "phenomenal demand".

The pop stars will play to thousands at the 3 Arena in Dublin on May 17 and May 18, 2024 and at the SSE Belfast Arena on May 20 and May 21, 2024.

The pop group was created through the ITV talent show 'Popstars: The Rivals' in 2002 and originally comprised Cheryl Tweedy, Nadine Coyle, the late Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh.

They went on hiatus in 2009 and briefly reunited in 2010 and 2012 before officially disbanding in 2013.

Tickets to the 2024 shows are on sale now.
