Social media users have called for a song made by Irish kids to be released on Spotify and other music streaming platforms, as the quality of the creation has shocked hundreds of people online - in a good way.

The 'outstanding' music video, posted online by RTÉ on X (formerly Twitter), has gained traction for its high quality production and catchy lyrics.

It was created by Garraí Mac / GMCBeats and The Kabin Studio youth club members from Co Cork as part of Cruinniú na nÓg.

Cruinniú na nÓg is an initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth Plan, to enable the creative potential of children and young people. Over 1,000 free workshops will be taking place on Saturday, June 15 across the country.

Social media users have flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts on the young people's music video, with many branding it 'amazing'.

"They had no business putting out something this deadly," one person said, while others chimed in, saying: "Absolute banger. Spotify that", "Nothing better than seeing kids enjoying the hype!" and "I am speechless, this is far far too hard for what I was expecting. Definitely the tune of the summer, unexpectedly".

While getting over 300.3k views when published on X by RTÉ, some people reposted the video, with one person captioning it: "Some Irish primary school kids made a tune and there is zero legitimate reason for it to go this hard - holy sh*t."

Verging on the realm of becoming viral, the video has been watched by over 393.3k people when reposted, most of which have summed it up by simply saying 'wow'.
