Tipperary artist confirmed to create new Shane MacGowan mural in Nenagh

Neil O'Dwyer has won the tender to design the Shane MacGowan mural in Nenagh

Confirmation has been received from Nenagh Municipal District that Tipperary Town-based mural artist, Neil O'Dwyer, has won the tender to design the Shane MacGowan mural in Emmet Place, Nenagh.

Works will commence at the end of August (subject to weather).

Neil is an artist who is famous for his spectacular murals and artworks which can be seen in many places around county Tipperary and all over Ireland.

Neil has worked from his native County Tipperary since the early 1980s, his murals and artwork have featured in the press and on national television, in documentaries about renowned sports personalities such as Micheál O Muircheartaigh and the late great Moss Keane.

Neil's work can be viewed online on his website murals.ie.
