The death has occurred of Eileen Brunnock, Kilcash Wood, Ballypatrick, Clonmel, Co Tipperary.

 

Eileen passed away peacefully in the tender care of the wonderful staff of the Cottage Nursing Home, Clonmel on Tuesday morning in the presence of her loving family. Dearly loved daughter of the late Paddy and Mae and pre-deceased by her infant brother Gerard, she will be sadly missed by her brothers Tony and Michael, sister Ann (Fogarty), brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and her many friends.

Reposing at Condons Funeral Parlour, Clonmel on Thursday evening from 5.30pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Friday morning to St John the Baptist Church, Kilcash for Funeral Mass on arrival at 11.00am. Burial will take place afterwards in Ballyneale Cemetery.

Cooper (née O’Dwyer), Bridget, Tyke House, Rearcross, Newport, Co. Tipperary, March 25th 2025,

(suddenly) at University Hospital, Limerick.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband Peter, sons Kieran and Diarmuid, sister Nonie (Ryan), daughters-in-law Elisabeth and Nikki, grandchildren Caitlin, Callum and Fintan, sister-in-law Anne, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing this Thursday evening at McCormack’s Funeral Home, Kilcommon from 6pm to 7.30pm.

Removal on Friday morning to the Church of The Visitation, Rearcross arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am, followed by burial afterwards in Rearcross Cemetery.

The death has occurred of

PHILOMENA (PHIL) CUNNEEN (née LANGAN)

Old Road, Silvermines, Nenagh, Tipperary

Late of Rienculla, Foynes, Limerick.

 

Peacefully at Padre Pio Nursing Home Holycross, surrounded by her cherished family on 24th March 2025. Predeceased by her beloved husband Tom, mother Ellen & father Tom, sisters Ann, Nellie, Josie, Kitty, Bridget, Nora brothers Denis, Jack, Peter, Maurice, Ted, Michael, Tom, Edward and Joseph and niece Shirley. Will be sadly missed by her loving family, Michael, Mary (Rowe) and Tomas, daughters in law Breda (Rohan), Pauline (Forde) and son in law Brendan Rowe, grandchildren Sarah (Keogh), Laura, Ellen, Niamh, Jessica (English), Eoin Rowe, Kaytlin Rowe, Ronan, Maeve and great-grand daughter Aine Keogh, also Daniel Keogh and Kieran English, nieces, nephews, cousins, her great life-long friends Marie Forde and Lizzie Kennedy, her nephew and great friend John Ryan and also great neighbours and her many friends.

 

The family would also like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Padre Pio Nursing Home for the care given to Phil over the last few years and also to Fr. Tierney. A special thanks also to Lorraine Quigley for her kindness, care and friendship to Phil at home and to her many friends who visited her at home and at Padre Pio, especially Fr Brendan.

Reposing at Ryans Funeral Home, Nenagh this Wednesday from 5.00 o'c to 7,0 o'c. Remains arriving at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Silvermines for 7:30. Requiem mass at 12:00 o'c. on Thursday. Burial afterwards in Kilmore Graveyard. 

Rev. Denis Kennedy

Rev. Denis Kennedy C.S.Sp. Blackrock College, St. Joseph's Parish Glasthule and late of Borrisoleigh, Co. Tipperary. Peacefully at Nazareth House Nursing Home on Tuesday 25th March 2025. Missionary in Nigeria, Kenya and United States. Predeceased by his sister Marie (Fogarty), brother Seamus and grandnephew John. Sadly missed by his sister Margaret (Ryan), brother-in-law Jimmy, sister-in-law Zita, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, his Spiritan confrè​​res and wide circle of friends.

Peter Smith

Peter Smith of Newport, Co. Tipperary formerly of Cavan and South West London. Peacefully on March 21st 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved parents Patrick and Mary, and sister Nan. Cherished and much loved, Peter will be sadly missed by his loving partner Kathleen, his devoted children Patrick, Eddie, Aaron and Danielle (Byrne), his beloved grandchildren Conor and Sophie, brother Con, the extended Smith and Byrne family, neighbours and many great friends.

 

May his gentle soul rest in peace

 

Reposing at Meehan’s Funeral Home, Newport on Thursday evening March 27th from 5.30 to 7 p.m. Arrival on Friday 28th to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Newport for Requiem Mass at 11:30 am, which can be viewed on www.churchcamlive.ie/newport followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium at 2 p.m.
