The death has taken place of William (Speedy) Kavanagh late of Pearse Square Carrick-on-Suir died 6th April 2025.

Pre-deceased by his parents and grand daughter Claire, sadly missed by his loving children Barbara, Gerard, Carolyn and Denise, brothers John, Michael and Raymond, sisters Bridie, Marie and Ann, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren Alan, Daryl, Clodagh, Haleigh, Luke and Lorna, great grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

William will be reposing at Walsh's Funeral Home, New Street, Carrick-on-Suir on Wednesday the 9th April from 5pm to 6.30pm. William will be arriving at St Nicholas' Church, Carrick-on-suir on Thursday the 10th April for requiem mass on arrival at 10.30am followed by Cremation at the Island Crematorium, Cork.

Carmel O'Gorman
(née Callanan)

The death has occurred of Carmel O’Gorman (Nee Callanan), Ballypatrick, Clonmel, Co Tipperary and late of Quansboro, Killimor, Co Galway.

Carmel passed away peacefully on 6th April 2025 in the loving and compassionate care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital (Predeceased by her beloved husband Denis, brothers Michael, Eddie and Toddy, sisters Nan and Mary).

Deeply regretted by her brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends. Carmel will be very sadly missed by all her extended family, neighbours and many good friends.

Reposing at O’Donoghue’s Funeral Home, Kickham Street, Clonmel (E19 PK91) on Wednesday evening from 5.30pm to 6.30pm with removal to St John the Baptist Church, Kilcash. Requiem Mass on Thursday 10th April at 12 o’clock followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

Kathleen (Kit) Ryan
(née Leahy)

Ryan (née, Leahy) Kathleen (Kit) (Clontarf, Dublin, late of Inchicore and formerly of Clonmore village, Co. Tipperary) April 6th 2025, peacefully, at home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Paddy, loving mother to Helen and Patrick and mother-in-law to Michael and Ann. Sadly missed by her family, grandchildren Lauren, Karl and Paul, great-grandchildren Leah, Jessica, Alexander and Holly, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours and her special four legged friend Maggie.

Boland, (nee Deere), Mary (Molzie), Newross, Newport, Co. Tipperary., formerly of Croughlahan, Cappamore, Co. Limerick . April 6th 2025 peacefully at Ashlawn Nursing Home, Nenagh in the presence of her loving family and the exceptional Care of Ashlawn Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husband John Joe, her parents Tommy and Nonie, brothers Jim, Paddy, Lar, Tommy and Neil and nephew Tommy. Sadly missed by her loving family, son Tom, daughters Joan, Noreen and Marie, grandchildren Cathal and Ellie, sister Sadie, sons in law, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Margo (Margaret) Hodgins, (nee O'Toole), Sallygrove, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Carnew, Co. Wicklow, died, April 6th 2025, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of Nenagh Manor Nursing Home. Predeceased by her beloved husband Adam, daughter-in-law April Lindsey, her sister and brothers Renee, Michael, Tom, Joe, John, Austin and Lorcan. Margo will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving son William, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law Jenny and Margaret, relatives, her very special carers Noreen and Ann, neighbours and friends.

The death has taken place of Thomas (Tommy) Hynes died 6th April 2025 peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

MEANEY, Richard Anthony (Tony), late of Rathfarnham, Dublin, and formerly of Clonmel, Co. Tipperary and Brussels, Belgium, passed away peacefully on the 5th of April 2025, surrounded by his family, in the wonderful care of the staff at The Fern Dean, Stepaside. Beloved husband of Pat and loving father of David, Liz, Eoin and Kevin. He will be sadly missed by his wife, children, daughters-in-law Helen, Rachel and An, son-in-law Pat, grandchildren Aoife, Oisín, Lily and Cillian, his sister Una, brothers Noel and Adrian, sisters-in-law Breda and Mary, brothers-in-law John and Ciaran, nieces, nephews, and all his extended family, neighbours and friends.

Nedo passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of all at St. Martha's nursing home Toureen Cahir. Predeceased by his beloved wife Breda. Born into Eternal Life, Heinz Tischbier, late of Middlequarter, Newcastle, Clonmel, formerly of Herzogenaurach, Germany and Boston, USA, passed away peacefully in the care of the staff of University Hospital Waterford.

 

Predeceased by his parents Katie and Ludwig and his brother Eugene. Deeply regretted by his beloved wife Chrissie (Mangan), his brothers-in-law Brendan, Don and John Mangan and their families, extended family in America and neighbours and many friends.
