Brian McDonnell

Brian McDonnell, Gortlandroe, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, late of Ballintoher and formerly of Grallagh, died peacefully, on April 28th 2025, in the wonderful care of the staff of Nenagh Hospital. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Morgan) and loving father of Brian, Rory, Deirdre and Eimear. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family, his cherished grandchildren Joanne, Ciardha, Oisín and Cuan, daughter-in-law Jenny Bracken, son-in-law Noel Maloney, his brother Andrew, sisters Ann and Carmel, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Sal, brothers Pat, William, Michael, Jim, Colm and John and his sisters Mary and Margaret.

 

Reposing on Thursday May 1st at Ryan's Funeral Home, Nenagh (E45 KN93), from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral arriving on Friday to St. Mary of the Rosary Church, Nenagh (E45 YH29), for Funeral Mass at 1pm, followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium (V14 PV30) at 4pm. The Funeral Mass can be viewed on www.nenaghparish.ie

6th July 1925 to 28th April 2025

 

O’Gorman (Rush, Co. Dublin and formerly of Monslatt, Killenaule, Co. Tipperary) - April 28th 2025. Sr. Joan (FMM), in her 100th year. Predeceased by her parents Thomas & Annie, her only sister Alice O’Connell, brother-in-law Michael O’Connell, nephew Michael O’Connell(Jnr), and nephew-in-law, Michael Moriarty. Deeply regretted by her FMM community, her nieces, Annette (Dublin), Mairead (Dublin), Joan (Tubbercurry), Eilís (Dublin), and her nephew Fr Tomás (Pallasgrean), nephews-in-law Vincent, Eamonn & Ken, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives & friends.

John Ryan

John Ryan, Cluain Áirne, Monadreen, Thurles. April 28th, unexpectedly. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary. Will be sadly missed by his adored sons, Luca and Sam, his sister Eileen, brother-in-law Paddy (Barry), nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, work colleagues in Dew Valley Foods and many friends.

Reposing in Kennedy's Funeral Home (E41 XY 47), Upper Kickham Street, Dublin Road, Thurles on this Thursday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. John's funeral cortege will depart from Eileen's home, Willowmere Drive on Friday morning to arrive in the Cathedral of the Assumption at 10.30 a.m. for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery.

Ita Breen (née Mulligan) , Renaghmore, Grange, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, April 26th. 2025, peacefully in the presence of her family in the loving care of the staff at Archersrath Nursing Home Kilkenny in her 94th. year.
Predeceased by her husband Sèan, son Hugh, brothers Tom, Jim, Hugh and sisters Rose and Kathleen.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, Stephen, Mary and Liz, son-in-law Dave, daughter-in-law Frances, Liz's partner Johnny, grandchildren Clodagh, Aoife, Eilish, Shauna, Ciara, Noel and Nick, great grandchildren Sèan and Hannah, brother Ned, sister Betty, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

The death has occurred of Bernard Fox, (Burgess West. Ballylobby, Co. Tipperary) on April 27th 2025. Deeply regretted by his sisters Nora Egan, Sr Gabrielle and his brother David, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, his nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends. R.I.P.

 

Reposing at St. Theresa's Hospital, Clogheen, Co.Tipperary,(E21 Y447) from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday 30th of April followed by removal to St John the Baptist Church, Duhill. Funeral mass at 11.30am on Thursday 1st of May, in St John the Baptist Church Duhill followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Terry Keane Stack, late of St. Conlon's Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Listowel, Co. Kerry, passed away in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Conlon's Home Nenagh, on April 26th 2025. Terry is predeceased by his parents William and Margaret, brothers Stephen and Liam and his sisters Marie and Betty Ann. Terry will be sadly missed by his loving children Bryan, Eoin and Maureen, brother Dermot, his adored grandchildren Clara, Maggie, Darcy and Taryn, daughters-in-law Sapna and Amanda, son-in-law Rob, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Jim (Seamus) Quinlan

Jim (Seamus) Quinlan (36 The Crescent, Cappawhite, Co. Tipperary), Jim passed away unexpectedly at University Hospital Limerick on Monday 28th April 2025.

 

Predeceased by his parents Martin and Catherine (Baby), brother Thomas and sister Kathleen.

 

Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, wife Caroline, son James, daughter Katie, James’ girlfriend Natalie and Katie’s boyfriend Paudie, special sister Patsy, brother Mikey, nephew Martin Wills and niece Caca and all his relatives, friends and kind neighbours.

 

Rest in peace.

Reposing at Whites Funeral Home, Cappawhite (E34 WR83) Wednesday evening (30th April) from 5.30 pm with removal at 7.30 pm to Our Lady of Fatima Church, Cappawhite. Requiem Mass Thursday at 11.30 am with burial afterwards in Cappawhite cemetery.

 

The family would like to thank Dr. Liam Casserly for the brilliant support and care given to Jim and also the wonderful Staff in the Intensive Care Dept at University Hospital Limerick who were fantastic to the family in their time of need.
