Desmond (Des) Killeen

Desmond (Des) Killeen, April 29th 2025, late of Wainsfort Road, Terenure and formerly Lorrha, Co. Tipperary, passed away peacefully under the exceptional care of Rathborne nursing home. Now, reunited with his beloved wife Maura and son Desmond Jr.

 

Des, sadly missed by his sons Michael, Vincent and David, daughters-in-law Maria, Ruth, Paula and Geraldine, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by his cherished grandchildren Stephen, James, Hannah, Adam, Laura, Sarah-Louise and Jennifer, many wonderful neighbours and friends.

 

May his soul Rest in Peace.

 

Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Templeogue, D6W AC82 on Tuesday 6th May from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Wednesday morning 7th May, to Terenure College Chapel, arriving for 10:30 am Requiem Mass followed by burial at Kilmashogue cemetery.

Dermot O'DRISCOLL

Dermot O’Driscoll, Tullow Rd, Carlow and formerly of Carrick-on-Suir, Co Tipperay, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on April 30th 2025, at his home

 

Beloved husband of Pat, much loved father of Brian, Niamh, Fiona and Emer and adored grandfather of Molly, Finn, Anna, Doug, Alex, Johnnie, Brian, Anna, Sarah, Ellie, Keelin and Charlie.

 

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law Joe, Chris and Aidan, daughter-in-law Ellie, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

 

May Dermot’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

 

Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq (Eircode R93 E863) on Friday (May 2nd) from 5pm, concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.30am to the Church of the Holy Family, Askea to arrive for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by a private cremation.

MICHAEL STARR

STARR Michael, (Blackrock, County Dublin and formerly of Nenagh, Co. Tipperary) April 30, 2025 (peacefully in his 89th year) in the loving care of the staff of the Royal Hospital, Donnybrook, predeceased by his loving wife Maeve (nee Fogarty) and much-loved father of Josephine (Jo), Richard, Ruth and Rachel. Predeceased by his brothers Ernest (Australia) and Timothy (US). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving brother Stephen and sisters, Bunty (Australia) and Elizabeth (Flannery), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sons-in-law Shay, Colin and Gerard, nephews, nieces, his grandchildren Kate, Sophie, Hannah, Ellie, Jamie, Millie and Tim, great-grandchildren, Olivia and Isabelle, relatives, and friends.

 

Rest in Peace

 

Michael will repose at Fanagans Funeral Home, 19 The Crescent, Monkstown on Sunday (4th May) from 3.00 pm until 4.30 pm. Removal on Monday morning (5th May) to St. John the Baptist’s Church, Blackrock for Funeral Mass, at 11.00 am which may be viewed on the parish webcam https://sjb.ie/our-parish/webcam/ followed by cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome which may be viewed on the following link https://www.mountjerome.ie/victorian-chapel-service/
