Greens vote in Tipperary North follows the nationwide pattern

The Centre in Thurles.

With just over half of the votes tallied in Tipperary North the lead candidates have surged.

Independent candidate Michael Lowry has surged clear will a battle Alan Kelly, Ryan O'Meara and Michael Smith for the remaining slots however Green Party candidate Iva Pocock is currently lagging behind the leading pack. 

The tallies indicate that Iva has 509 votes which is 1.7% of the votes currently with 68% of the votes tallied. 

Currently, the total votes tallied in Tipperary North is 30,338 as per the latest cross-party tally information. 

Nationwide the Green Party is polling lower than expected with the main trio of parties doing best overall.
