GOLF: Top five finish for Shane Lowry at Honda Classic
Offaly man Shane Lowry finished in tied for fifth at The Honda Classic over the weekend.
The world number 19 carded a level-par final-round 70 on Sunday which was enough to keep Lowry towards the top of the leaderboard on nine-under-par overall.
American Chris Kirk won the tournament, defeating fellow US golfer Eric Cole in a play-off after the pair finished on 14-under-par.
Lowry wore a green and white ribbon during the tournament, the club colours of Ferbane, in memory of his uncle Jimmy who passed away last week.
