But this week's CSO figures do reveal an interesting pattern

No Tipperary LEA in Tipperary reached 100 dwelling completions in 2022

No Local Electoral Area of Tipperary reached 100 new dwelling completions in 2022.

That is according to new figures released by the Central Statistics Office this week.

The New Dwelling Completions Q4 2022 set reveals that Thurles had the most dwelling completions in Tipperary at 82.

Roscrea Templemore had the lowest at 38.

In total, there were 430 dwelling completions in 2022.

This is a significant increase in 2021, where 310 dwellings were completed and 300 in 2020.

This week's figures also show more dwellings completed in in Tipperary in 2022 than in pre-pandemic years 2019 (316) and 2018 (197).

INCREASE ACROSS THE BOARD

Nationally in 2022, there were 29,851 dwelling completions.

According to CSO Statistician Justin Anderson, this represents an increase of 45.2% in 2021 and 41.3% in 2019, pre-pandemic.
