Nenagh actor Daryl McCormack is hot favourite to lift IFTA Rising Star award
Tipperary’s Daryl McCormack is the early 7/4 frontrunner with BoyleSports to win the Rising Star award at the IFTAs in Dublin next month.
Daryl is up against Kathryn Ferguson (director - Nothing Compares); Danielle Galligan (actor - Lakelands); Éanna Hardwicke (actor - Lakelands, and Aoife McArdle (director - Severance).
The former Fair City star is nominated for his roles in Bad Sisters and Good Luck to You, Leo Grande, which he starred in with Emma Thompson and for which he received two BAFTA nominations.
