Tipperary gardaí and local community organise coffee morning and cycle for Alzheimer's
A coffee morning in aid of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland is being organised by Roscrea’s Sgt Ciarán Ó Raighne in the Courthouse, Roscrea, at 10.30am on May 10.
It is being organised in conjunction with An Garda Síochána and Age Friendly Roscrea who are based in the building and is part of the Making of Memories Cycle being organised by Sgt Ó Raighne.
On August 26, he will complete a one-day solo 236km cycle from Indreabhán, county Galway to Dingle in order to raise funds for the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
Sgt Ó Raighne has an Instagram page and a Just Giving page set up for those who would like to donate.
So far, he has raise in excess of €6,400.
