Rating: 8/10
Utilised as the spare man after the opening five minutes when Cork cut Tipp to pieces, Maher hit a ridiculous amount of ball on the day. There are few in the country as effective in the role and he coupled that with some excellent fielding and general good use of the ball. He was lucky not to get a red card for a dangerous tackle on Darragh Fitzgibbon in the first half but he looked back to his best on Saturday.
