What a game the Roscrea man had. He was ferocious in his play all day, carrying the ball, tackling, scoring, and setting up goal chances. Finished with 0-4 from play and he very nearly played a part in what would have been a sealing goal, but Seamus Callanan was well denied by Collins in the Cork goal. His step and abrasiveness is a very welcomed weapon to the Tipp arsenal.
