Two Albanian nationals have entered guilty pleas in relation to a large drugs seizure outside Nenagh last year.

Matian Kroi of Arndale Court, Ellen Avenue, Chatham, Kent, England, and Konstandin Osmenaj of no fixed abode, appeared before Nenagh Circuit Court last week.

They both pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis with a valuation greater than €13,000 for the purpose of sale or supply at Lissatunny, Nenagh, on August 6, 2022.

They also pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis with a valuation greater than €13,000 for the purpose of sale or supply at Shangrila, Grange Grove, Tullow Road, Carlow, on the same date.

The court heard that a number of reports were being prepared in advance of sentencing.

Judge Catherine Staines remanded both defendants in custody to appear before Nenagh Circuit Court again on October 3.
