Nenagh Walking Club raises funds for hospice care with walk in memory of Starr brothers

A number of walking enthusiasts from Nenagh and surrounding areas who took part in a 6km event at the Great Limerick Run and a walk around the Nenagh area raised €6,120 for North Tipperary Hospice Movement in memory of Nenagh brothers Johnny and Joe Starr.

Organiser Pat Delaney said that the hospice was chosen as that was what the Starr brothers would have liked.

Also remembered were walking club members, the late Joe Coleman O’Connor and Bríd Buckley.
