Crowds gathered in Nenagh on Saturday to take in the spectacular show that is the Christmas Tractors Nenagh.

The annual event draws people and press from around the country and raises funds for local charities, this year supporting The A Team and Billy’s Recovery Fund.

The event has grown from a simple Christmas tractor run into a day long festival that brings thousands into the town every year.

The festivities this year began at 12pm on Saturday with a funfair at the train station, a Christmas market, a snow globe photo booth and more.

The parade kicked off at 6:30pm, starting at Liffey Mills and traveling down Pearse Street, Kenyon Street and ending at Nenagh Mart on Stafford Street.

An array of characters travelled through Nenagh, including the Grinch, Santa and the Snowman.
