Tipperary County Council appoints new director of roads

Liam Brett replaces Marcus O'Conner who retired last month

Liam Brett has taken over from Marcus O’Connor as Director of Roads and Transportation, Active Travel, Health and Safety, Construction Skills Certification Scheme Office and Nenagh Municipal District at Tipperary County Council.

Mr O’Connor retired in March of this year.

Mr Brett is the former Director for Head of Finance and Information Technology Finance, Information Technology, Motor Taxation and Thurles Municipal District.

He is replaced in that role by Mark Connolly.

Councillors at the April sitting of Tipperary County Council welcomed Mr Brett in his new role.
