ELECTIONS: Fianna Fáil's Ryan O'Meara looks set for one of Nenagh's open seats

The youngest candidate in the Nenagh LEA race is currently 3rd in the tallies

The first count has yet to happen but with all boxes for Nenagh LEA opened, initial tallies show Fianna Fáil's Ryan O'Meara looks set to be the first newcomer to the County Council in Nenagh. 

Ryan is currently in third place on the polls behind Joe Hannigan and Michael O'Meara. He has taken the lead on current County Councillor Seamus Morris who is still comfortable in fourth place.

Ryan O’Meara is the youngest of the candidates at 28-years-old..

In recent years, he has worked as parliamentary assistant for TD Jackie Cahill and as Director of Nenagh Credit Union. Ryan is also Chairperson of Nenagh Darkness Into Light and member of several other community groups including the North Tipperary Agricultural Show.
