Voter turnout throughout Tipperary in this year's Local Elections was an average of 55.12% across the eight LEAs which is over 2.5% lower than 2019's 57.85% turnout.
Each LEA's turnout percentage is broken down below with these year's turnout percentage compared to the 2019 figure:

Carrick-on-Suir

56.03% (2024) < 62.1% (2019)

55.99% (2024) < 60.33% (2019)
Similar trends were reported across the country signifying a declining lack of interest for local elections throughout the Irish populous.
