A second Shane MacGowan mural has gone up in Nenagh on the wall of one of Shane's most well-know local haunts, Philip Ryan's pub or Philly Ryan's as it's know locally.

The artwork has been created by airbrush artist Nik Purdy and showcases photorealistic portraits of two sides of Shane MacGowan.

This mural has gone up just in time for the official launch of the Shane MacGowan mural at Emmet place in Nenagh, which is set to take place this Sunday 6 October at 2pm. Shane’s wife, Victoria and his sister, Siobhan will be among those in attendance as well as the mural artist, Neil O’ Dwyer. Musician, Sharon Shannon has also confirmed that she will perform.
