Roscrea Lions Clubs point out that ‘Message in a Bottle’ can save lives

Lions Clubs ‘Message in a Bottle’ is a simple but effective way for people to keep their basic personal and medical details where they can be found in an emergency on a standard form in a common location - the fridge.

Stickers are put on the fridge and on the inside of the main entrance doors to alert the emergency services that the vital information is available in the fridge.

Roscrea Lions were delighted to donate the bottles to Age Friendly, Roscrea and many thanks to Community Garda, Aine Troy for reaching out to Roscrea Lions with the initiative and help with the distribution of bottles.
