GAELIC FOOTBALL: Tipperary 'County League' groups and pairings confirmed

The first round of the Tipperary club football league will take place on the weekend of the 9th of March with the first round of the hurling commencing on the weekend of the 16th.

This year strong groups have been confirmed so the emphasis will be on building familiarity with the new rules of football and developing patterns of play ahead of the championship with competitive groups guaranteed.

Below are the Groups and the round 1 pairings followed by confirmation of the All-Ireland football schools series - the Paddy Drummond cup semi finals - which was contested by Cashel Community school.

Matisa All Ireland Senior B Football (Paddy Drummond Cup)
Cashel Community School were defeated by Patrician High School Carrickmacross, 1-11 to 0-3 in the All-Ireland semi-final on Saturday February 22nd last in St. Claire’s Campus DCU.

The second semi-final saw Roscommon CBS defeated St. Peters College Dunboyne , 2-14 to 1-11 in Abbottstown.
