At 32 years old, Sean Kelly from Nenagh has been an active member of the Nenagh Macra club for the past ten years.
He first joined while attending Gurteen Agricultural College in Ballingarry, and he credits the organization with significantly boosting his self-confidence - a personal milestone he considers the highlight of his Macra journey.
Representing North Tipperary, Kelly progressed through the local rounds to compete against 24 other finalists at the national event, held at The Hub in Kilkenny city from April 25th to 27th.
The contest involved several stages, including both public and private interviews, along with social activities designed to break the ice, such as bowling, jiving, and team-building exercises.
