Saoirse Kelly from Roscrea, who was recognised in the Community Safety Award for her efforts in providing vital first aid to a young child taken from the water at Dromineer.
The young boy fully recovered with Saoirse playing a bit part in his recovery due to her quick reaction and decision to administer first aid to this child.
Saoirse is pictured below with Roscrea's Chief Superintendent Derek Smart.
