Active Travel works are underway in a number of Nenagh localities
A number of Active Travel projects aer at various stages in the Nenagh Municipal District Council area, local councillors have been informed.
Councillors were told at their November meeting that the footpath scheme at Rathcabbin was complete, while the Riverstown combined cycleway / footpath is substantially complete with the completion of landscaping and lighting to be finalised.
Meanwhile, in Birdhill, Phase 1 of the footpath works from the railway station to the junction of R445 / R446 has
commenced.
