Liam Cahill has named his very first official Tipperary team for the Coop Superstores Munster Hurling League clash with Waterford on Tuesday evening next in Fraher Field Dungarvan.
And it's an experimental line up with six debutants in the mix along with a number of positional change ups, including the likes of Michael Breen who moves to full back for the first time since his underage days at county level.
It is a first appearance at senior intercounty level for Rhys Shelly who comes in as goalkeeper, while Gavin Ryan has been rewarded for his impressive club season with Upperchurch Drombane to start at corner back.
Podge Campion of Drom & Inch slots in at centre back, and is joined by former Lattin Cullen clubman Shane Nevill at wing back, while in the forwards Joe Fogarty and Paddy Creedon are named to start in a very interesting looking starting team.
There is also experience in every line of the field with Cathal Barrett, Dan McCormack, Jason Forde, and Mark Kehoe the regulars that line out for Cahill.
The game throws in in Fraher Field, Dungarvan tomorrow evening at 7pm. See full panel for the game below.
