Nenagh Éire Óg are running a long puck competition this Saturday, February 18, at 10am in aid of the Dillon Quirke foundation. There will be Juvenile, Adult and a Camogie competition with €10 entry for adults, €5 for juveniles.

The Dillon Quirke Foundation’s aim is to raise awareness of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome and save lives by screening every GAA club player from the age of 12 upwards across Ireland so hopefully there will be a big turnout on the day for this very worthy cause.

Table Quiz: We had a very successful Juvenile Table Quiz last Friday night in The Dapp Inn. Thanks very much to all who attended, bought raffle tickets and donated prizes. All funds raised on the night will go towards juvenile club programmes, events and equipment.

Congratulations to the winners who claimed the Tommy Mulcahy Perpetual Cup, congratulations also to the eventual second place team who claimed the runner up slot after winning a thrilling tie breaker.

North Tipp Players of the year: Well done to Jake Morris who was named North Tipp senior hurler of the year and to Cian Carmody who was named U19B footballer of the year for 2022. Both will receive their awards at the North Tipp Presentation Night on Fri next in the Kilruane MacDonagh’s GAA Complex in Cloughjordan.

U14 North Tipp Football: Congratulations to the Nenagh Éire Óg boys Daniel Moylan, James Heffernan, Oisín Gleeson and Rhys Cottrell who all made the U14 North Tipperary Football panel this week. Best wishes to the boys and their team who are managed by Nenagh Éire Óg's Rory O'Farrell.

National Clubs Draw: Over the coming weeks the club will be selling tickets for the National Clubs Draw. Once again the top prize this year is a car with many other great prizes to be won. Tickets cost €10 and are available through the senior, camogie and juvenile clubs. All support for this draw is greatly appreciated.

Tipperary: Well done to Jake Morris who scored 1-2 in Tipperary’s win over Kilkenny in the National League game on Sunday last in Nowlan Park.

Lotto: This week's lotto jackpot was €5,600. A reminder that you can play the lotto each week at the following businesses in the town where our new lotto boxes are located - The Hi-B, JKC, Centra, The 44 Bar, Cleary’s Daybreak and Andy’s.
