Gardaí appeal for witnesses following 'incident' on Limerick train

GARDAÍ in Tipperary are appealing to the public for information following an incident which occurred on a train operating between Limerick Colbert and Limerick Junction stations last Thursday.

The incident occurred on a train that departed Colbert station at 4.50pm on Thursday, November 16, and arrived at Limerick Junction at approximately 5.20pm. 

A number of passengers on board the train came to the assistance of the injured party at the time.

Gardaí are now requesting that they make contact with them.

Anyone with information in relation to this matter that can assist Gardaí with their investigation is asked to contact Tipperary Town garda station on 062 80670, or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
