The Irish Blood Transfusion Service has issued as urgent appeal for donors at the Scouts Hall in Nenagh this week after a pre-amber alert issue has been issued to hospitals due to low blood stocks.
If the situation escalates to an amber alert it will immediately impact hospitals and elective surgeries requiring blood support.
The clinic is open in Nenagh until this Thursday 4 July, from 4:50-8:10pm.
