RIP: Great sadness in one Tipperary GAA club as club stalwart passes away suddenly

Roscrea GAA released a heartfelt tribute to club stalwart Tara Rowan who sadly passed away earlier this week.

"It is with profound sadness that we have learned of the passing of Tara Rowan," Roscrea's social media accounts said.

Tara was a very active member of our club and club volunteer throughout her life and she was ever present at the Cúl Camps and all underage blitz' where a cup of tea was always on hand for all present.

She always had a smile on her face and would bring joy and laughter to all in her company.

Tara was a great supporter of all Roscrea teams and would travel throughout the country shouting on the red and white. She was very proud of her sons and daughter wearing the Roscrea jersey.

Tara brilliantly took on the role of Tina Turner at the club Lip Sync Fundraiser a number of years ago and she was “Simply the Best”.

The club extends its condolences to her sons Liam, Luke and Conor, daughter Kellie, brothers Michael and Cronan, and all her extended family and friends.
