Tipperary's greatest ever All-Ireland winning team enjoyed welcome reunion recently

Last Friday night, Tom Egan of the Horse & Jockey Hotel hosted a memorable celebration honoring the five All-Ireland-winning camogie teams from 1999 to 2004.

Players, management teams, and their families gathered for a remarkable evening at the beautiful Horse & Jockey Hotel.

Tipp FM’s Johnny Looby served as MC, leading a lively discussion with winning captains Meadbh Stokes, Jovita Delaney, Emily Hayden, and Una O’Dwyer, alongside Michael Cleary and Raymie Ryan.

The night was a true journey down memory lane, filled with wonderful memories and stories of training sessions, thrilling matches, and unforgettable homecomings.

Attendees enjoyed highlights of each championship game, shown on a large screen, rekindling the excitement of those victories.

Following the formal proceedings, everyone enjoyed refreshments and music, courtesy of Tom Egan—a longstanding supporter and sponsor of Tipperary Camogie during its golden era.

In appreciation of Tom’s generous support and for hosting a truly special evening, Claire Madden and Deirdre Hughes presented him with a beautifully commissioned bronze sculpture by Jarlath Daly.

The piece, depicting three camogie players and five stars symbolizing each All-Ireland success, stands as a fitting tribute to the legacy of Tipperary Camogie.
