Kilruane MacDonaghs GAA club had 181 patrons gathered in Ashley Park House last Saturday night for a most successful and enjoyable Dinner Dance.
Special guest was the very popular Tipperary and Lorrha star Patrick ‘Bonner’ Maher. Chairman Dave Carroll was a competent MC and kept proceedings moving swiftly.
All-Ireland camogie medalists Amy Quinlisk, Laura Shinners, Ali O’Kelly, and Ava Gaynor received presentations to acknowledge their roles in the victories of the Tipperary junior and minor camogie teams with appropriate introductions from Kieran Nevin.
The successful U19 and minor hurling and football teams received their medals with Cathal McIntyre and Mick Cleary teaming up to introduce the players.
Selectors Cathal McIntyre, Mick Cleary, Pat Murphy, Eanna Hogan, Jack Peters, Joe Whelan, Fr. Pat Greed, and Gilbert Williams received presentations in appreciation of their contributions to the success of the minors and U19s.
Yvonne Kennedy, who headed the organising sub-committee was presented with a bouquet while Eoin Campbell was on hand to record the night’s events on camera.
