The students had a great day out.
On Tuesday morning 4th February 2025, Ms. Loughnane and her 6 th LCA Hotel, Catering and Tourism group from Coláiste Phobal, Ros Cré went for breakfast in the Ugli Duckling cafe and a short walking tourist trail of the town of Roscrea as part of a key assignment.
Naz, the owner of the Ugli Duckling showed the students around the cafe, spoke to the students about catering operations and answered questions etc. This was a very enjoyable and valuable trip for the students based on the practical nature of Hotel, Catering and Tourism
A spokesperson said "Many thanks to the Ugli Duckling for having us and serving us a selection of delicious breakfasts!"
