UPDATE: Met Éireann issues weather warning for Tipperary with heavy rain forecasted

Motorists in counties impacted by Sunday's warnings are being urged to exercise caution when travelling

A status yellow wind and rain warning has been issued for Tipperary, and 14 other counties, on Sunday, February 23, with heavy rain and intense wind predicated. 

The warning will come into effect for Tipperary, along with the rest of Munster, Carlow, Wexford, Wicklow, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo from 2am that morning, until 3pm the same afternoon. 

According to Met Éireann, possible impacts include, difficult travel conditions, localised flooding, fallen trees and loose debris, and poor visibility.

A status yellow wind warning has also been issued for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, and Sligo from 3pm on Sunday, until midnight. The possible impacts of this warning are difficult travel conditions, fallen trees, loose debris, and poor visibility.
