Tony's Shop & Artisan Bakery Ballycommon
Tony's Shop & Artisan Bakery in Ballycommon, just outside of Nenagh, has seen great business in recent weekends since starting to sell the viral 'Dubai Chocolate Bar'.
The chocolate bar was made famous towards the end of 2024 after influencers in Dubai began filming themselves trying the luxurious bar and raving about how great it was.
The indulgent bar is filled with a pistachio-green substance that tasters have likened to that of a Kinder Bueno bar with a slightly crunchier texture.
The original chocolate bar was created by the Dubai-based Fix Dessert Chocolatier and features something called kataifi along with pistachio and tahini paste all contained in a thick milk chocolate exterior.
Up until recently, the bars were exclusively available in Dubai but with the recipe leaked online shops around the world have begun to sell the delightful treat.
Tony's shop has already had to restock the bars several times after only beginning to sell them less than a month ago.
Tony's petrol station and artisan bakery reinvented itself back in 2022, after getting a reputation as a purveyor of international sweets and treats, they have leaned into this and opened a fantastic bakery section that sells everything from the Dubai Chocolate Bar, to artisan salsas, hot sauces, homemade sourdough and many more great treats.
