Nenagh playground set to receive funding for fantastic new facilities

Funding was announced for St Paul's Playground in Nenagh

In a post on social media today, Nenagh councillor Louise Morgan Walsh announced that funding has been secured under the Participation Nation Outdoor Fund in conjunction with Tipperary Sports Partnership for the installation of a 3x3 Basketball Court and biodiversity measures at St Paul's Playground Nenagh (beside St Joseph's Park estate).

The tender process will begin soon and works progressed thereafter.

The installation of the 3x3 basketball court will help increase participation levels in the local communities while increasing opportunities for the wider communities to try new activities in our local community.
