Tipperary's senior hurlers will travel to Limerick next Saturday evening to face Galway in the All-Ireland Hurling Championship quarter-final after the fixture for the well-anticipated clash was confirmed this afternoon.
A routine preliminary quarter-final win over Laois last Saturday qualified Liam Cahill's charges for this stage, but in the meantime, there has been plenty of speculation as to where the last six clash would take place, with a possible double header mooted.
However, the decision has been made, and as many would have expected, the teams will travel to TUS Gaelic Grounds in Limerick to face off in a repeat of the 2023 clash, which Tipperary lost by two points.
The game starts at 6:15pm on Saturday evening.
