After a historic first victory in the Munster Senior Challenge Cup and promotion to Division 1A last season, Nenagh Ormond will be returning to the Energia Bateman Cup for the first time - a proud moment for the club and its supporters.

The Bateman Cup semi-finals are set for Sunday, November 9th, and the final is scheduled for January 3rd.

The Men’s Energia AIL campaign will kick off a week later than last year, with Round 1 set for the weekend of September 27th. The league season will feature 18 rounds, followed by semi-finals and promotion/relegation playoffs in mid-April.

The grand finale will be held at the Aviva Stadium on April 25th.

This season also introduces two “No Rugby Weekends” to give players, coaches, and volunteers some downtime. One of these falls on November 22nd, coinciding with Ireland’s final Autumn Nations Series match against South Africa, giving our players a chance to recharge.

Nenagh Ormond is looking forward to building on last season’s momentum, competing fiercely in both the league and cup competitions, and continuing to develop local talent.
