Tipperary GAA club sends in planning for new state-of-the-art floodlights for playing pitches

Toomevara GAA Club has submitted a planning application seeking permission for a major upgrade of its lighting systems.

The club is proposing to install six new 20-metre lighting columns, each fitted with five LED pitch floodlights, to illuminate the training pitch and replace the current floodlighting in place.

In addition, permission is sought for 13 new streetlights on 6-metre columns around the grounds, which would replace the existing perimeter walkway lighting system.

The development would take place at the club’s grounds on Main Street, Toomevara.
