Gold Standard Physio, the Nenagh-based physiotherapy and sports injury clinic, has been crowned Irish Sports Injury Clinic of the Year for the second year running at the 2025 Private Healthcare Awards in Dublin.

The accolade caps off a standout year for the family-run clinic, which earlier secured both the 2025 ISCP Private Practice Award and a Private Healthcare Excellence Award, completing what founder Cian McDonnell described as “a trio of the most prestigious honours an Irish Chartered Physiotherapy clinic can achieve.”
Speaking after the announcement, McDonnell said: “It’s a tremendous honour for our family-run organisation to be recognised alongside such respected healthcare providers as The Mater Private Network, VHI and The Beacon.
"On behalf of our team, I want to thank the people of Tipperary and beyond for their continued trust and support, which has allowed us to grow and enhance our services year after year. We very much dedicate this award to them.”
Founded in 2012, Gold Standard Physio offers a wide range of evidence-based physiotherapy and wellness services, from sports and neurological physiotherapy to workplace and women’s health physio.
The clinic also provides premium exercise and lifestyle medicine services for clients across Tipperary and beyond.
