After a busy year of sport, Mikey Breen and Sharlene Mawdsley are soaking up some well-earned sunshine in Dubai.

The Tipperary hurler and the Irish athletics star have been enjoying a break together as they unwind following their respective seasons.
Breen played a key role in helping Tipp bring the Liam MacCarthy Cup back to the county for the first time since 2019, while Mawdsley’s season on the track ran right up to the beginning of autumn.
The couple went public with their relationship earlier this year, and Sharlene was a regular face in the stands during Tipp’s run to All-Ireland glory.
Now, the pair are swapping the hurling boots and running spikes for sunglasses and sea views as they relax after a year to remember.
