The County Scór na nÓg Final took place in Templederry on Saturday night, drawing a large crowd for what proved to be a wonderful celebration of Irish culture and youth talent.
Competitors from across Tipperary took to the stage in a showcase of traditional music, song, dance and recitation. The standard of performance throughout the evening was described as outstanding, with clubs and families turning out in strong numbers to support their representatives.
The event was organised by the Tipperary Scór committee, with Anne and Katherine serving as judges and Paddy as quizmaster. Joanne acted as Bean an Tí, keeping the show running smoothly, while Templederry Scór provided warm hospitality for all in attendance.
Members of the county committee, including Dan, Seamus and Suzanne, were also acknowledged for their work in staging the event, along with Maggie Bourke, who oversaw sound and production.
Medals were presented on the night by Tipperary Scór Secretary Mark Dunne. The winners now advance to the Munster Final, which will take place in Cashel on Sunday, November 30.
