Nenagh Olympic Athletic Club will mark a major milestone this month as it celebrates its 70th anniversary with a special reunion event for past and present members.
The celebration will take place on Friday, 22 November at The Thatched Cottage, Ballycommon, with festivities kicking off at 7:30pm. The evening will be an opportunity for former athletes, coaches, and committee members to reconnect, share memories, and celebrate the proud history of one of Tipperary’s most successful athletics clubs.
Founded in 1954, Nenagh Olympic AC has long been a cornerstone of the athletics community in the Mid-West, producing generations of talented athletes and fostering a deep local love for the sport. The 70th anniversary marks not just seven decades of competition, but also of community spirit and volunteer dedication.
