The roads around Holycross will be closed between November 24 and May 22 next year due to a watermains upgrade project

Council makes order to close three roads around Tipperary village for six months

Tipperary County Council has made an order to close three roads in the Holycross area for six months starting this month to facilitate the installation of a watermain for an Uisce Éireann upgrade project. 

The closure order affects the L-4162 at Galbertstown Upper and Lower, The L-3130 at Glenbane Upper, The L-1309-3 at Regaile, Holycross, Thurles Co. Tipperary from midnight on Monday, November 24 to midnight on Friday, May 22, 2026. 

Local diversions will be in place for the duration of the works.
