Revd. Mike O’Meara led the school, teaching all about the significance of Harvest around the world. He even had the children come up and play an interactive game, where they had to match produce, to its country of origin and an interactive story about the Little Red Hen!

The children also gave super singing performances, recorder playing and readings in many languages.
The wonderful volunteers from Clonmel’s Soup Kitchen joined the Harvest Festival and spoke about the important work they do.

The pupils donated lots of non-perishable food to this vital local cause. They gave thanks for all the warm houses they have and all the people who nurture them.

A huge thank you is due to Revd. Mike for such a beautiful celebration.
The school is also grateful to Shirley Clooney and George Hogg in Old St. Mary’s Church who treated the children to lots of sweets, biscuits and juice on the day after all their hard work.

Following on from this big day the school hosted a very successful Open evening. Thank you to all our parents and pupils who helped make the evening such a success.

The school is currently accepting enrolments for all classes for September 2026 (www.stmarysparochial
