Embrace Community Services, a leading national provider of residential and community support for people with disabilities, is expanding into Tipperary with the opening of a new residential facility at Lisronagh Lodge near Clonmel.

The new service marks a significant step in what Embrace says is its commitment to supporting people with disabilities to live independently, and to be fully included within their communities.

The Clonmel house will be the first of two new Embrace homes in Tipperary and will create up to 30 new jobs across the county as services grow.

Johnny Meehan, Chief Executive Officer, Embrace Community Services, said:

“We are delighted to be expanding into Tipperary and to bring our model of care to Clonmel.

“At Embrace, everything we do is about helping people with disabilities to live the lives they choose, within their own communities.

“This new service represents real progress towards that goal, and it also brings valuable employment opportunities for local people who want to make a difference”.

The new Clonmel house will provide a modern, supportive environment tailored to residents’ individual care needs, with a focus on independence, inclusion and community participation.

Embrace Community Services currently operates residential and community-based services across Ireland, supporting children and adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, acquired brain injury and mental health needs.

Each Embrace residence is embedded within its local community, offering space, comfort and opportunities for meaningful engagement, from gardening and animal care to participation in local clubs and activities.
