A planning notice proposal for three modular and portable Padel tennis courts. Each court will feature an artificial grass surface, four-metre-high perimeter fencing and integrated LED lighting rising to six metres.

The project is part of Padel 100 Ltd’s national initiative to install 100 Padel courts across Ireland, with Nenagh Éire Óg among the first locations selected.

Padel, which combines elements of tennis and squash, is typically played in doubles on a smaller enclosed court. The sport has gained global popularity for its fast pace, accessibility and social appeal.

If approved, the development will represent another milestone in the expansion of the Stereame facilities and will strengthen Nenagh Éire Óg’s commitment to providing new sporting opportunities and fostering community engagement in the region.

Further details are expected to be announced in due course.
