Cahir Tidy Towns will hold their annual awards night on Saturday Novemnber 15
The Cahir Tidy Towns group will hold their annual awards night on Saturday, November 15 in the Shamrock Lounge at 8pm.
Every year the local awards is sponsored by Dolans Super Valu and is greatly appreciated by many who keep their premises neat and gardens tidy.

This competition is also a big part of the National Adjudication criteria and often referenced in the results. Certificates and prizes will be announced in many sections and we would like to see our youth tidy towns join us for the results on the night.
On November 12 we will learn our fate in the National Green Flag Awards which are to be held in Athlone. The Green Flag Award is a prestigious international recognition for green open spaces and currently, the Inch Field is the only Green Flag Park in Tipperary.

We will soon be preparing for a visit from Santa Claus and his arrival and the switch on of the Cahir Christmas Lights event will take place on Saturday December 6 this year and as usual all children are invited to light up their tractors or tricycles and precede the Tractor Run. We plan to go at an earlier time of 4.30pm, but we will confirm in the coming weeks.
