The couple stole a private moment together, taking a helicopter ride to soak in South Africa’s stunning landscapes from above. High above the ground, Mawdsley and Breen appeared delighted, enjoying the scenic vistas.
Their outing underscores how elite athletes can balance hard-earned success with well-deserved fun and personal time. From the thrill of the skies to relaxed moments on the ground, the couple seem to be embraing every part of the holiday.
The getaway comes in the wake of Tipperary’s All-Ireland triumph and provides a pause before the 2026 season begins, starting with the Allianz National League in late January. For Mawdsley and Breen, the timing was ideal: Mawdsley preparing to resume her athletics campaign and Breen readying for inter-county pre-season training after the break.
